About the Lodge

Two centuries of Masonic brotherhood in Hyderabad and Secunderabad

St. John's Lodge No. 434 E.C. is a historic English Constitution Masonic Lodge in Secunderabad, serving the wider Hyderabad community since 1822. Working under the District Grand Lodge of Madras, the Lodge is part of the United Grand Lodge of England tradition, one of the world's most established Masonic traditions.

At St. John's Freemasons Hall and Masonic Temple, members develop through Masonic ritual, education, fellowship, and shared service. The Lodge honours the enduring principles of Freemasonry while welcoming men of good character from Hyderabad, Secunderabad, and beyond.

Applicants should be men of good moral character who believe in a Supreme Being.

Age Requirement

Applicants must ordinarily be at least 21 years of age at the time of initiation.

Recommendation

Prospective members are guided through the Lodge's formal membership process, including the required recommendation and suitability review.
